Guide Agreement

Thanks for being a Campii Guide. This is the deal between you and Campii, in plain English. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
1. Eligibility
To be a Guide you must be at least 18 and either currently enrolled at, or a recent graduate of, an accredited college or university, and verify a valid .edu email for that school. Recent graduates who can no longer access their .edu inbox can request manual verification from support. You agree to keep your profile accurate and to let us know if your status changes.
2. You're an independent contractor
You provide your services as an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Campii. You decide whether, when, and how often to take calls and set your own availability. Nothing here creates an employment or agency relationship, and you're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
3. What you agree to do
- Share honest, first-hand experiences — no scripts, no pretending to represent the school or its admissions office.
- Show up on time and prepared for booked calls.
- Be respectful, safe, and appropriate at all times, including with users who may be minors.
- Never give professional advice (legal, medical, financial) or guarantee admissions or other outcomes.
- Keep conversations and payments on Campii — no soliciting off-platform payment or contact.
4. Payment
You earn a set payout for each completed call (currently $10 of the $20 call price), paid out through Stripe Connect. You're responsible for completing Stripe onboarding and providing accurate payout details. Payouts are issued after a call is completed. Campii may withhold or reverse payouts for calls that are fraudulent, refunded, or in violation of these terms.
5. Ratings & standing
Students may rate calls. Sustained low ratings or policy violations can result in reduced visibility, removal of bookability, or removal from the platform. We'll generally warn you first when your rating is at risk, so you have a chance to improve.
6. Conduct & safety
Because some users are minors, certain behavior results in immediate removal and may be reported to authorities: any sexual content or solicitation involving minors, harassment, threats, hate, or attempts to obtain a minor's private contact information. Calls may not be recorded without the other person's clear consent.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of your profile, answers, and other content, and you grant Campii a license to display and promote it (see our Terms). You confirm your content is truthful and yours to share.
8. Termination
You can stop being a Guide any time by contacting support@campii.app. We can suspend or remove a Guide who violates these terms or where needed to protect the community. Earned, eligible payouts for completed calls will still be paid.
9. Disclaimers & liability
Campii provides the platform “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Campii is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited as described in our Terms of Service. You're responsible for your own conduct on and off calls.
