1. What we collect

• Account info: name, email, school, year, and (for Guides) a verified .edu email, bio, photo, and availability.
• Booking & payment info: the calls you book and a payment token from Stripe. We don't store full card numbers.
• Content: questions, answers, reviews, and messages you post.
• Usage data: basic analytics about how the site is used, to keep it working and improve it.

2. How we use it

• To run the platform — accounts, bookings, calls, payouts, and chatrooms.
• To verify Guides and keep the community safe.
• To send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, account notices).
• To improve Campii and, occasionally, to share platform updates you can opt out of.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate — for example Stripe (payments), Supabase (database/auth), Daily.co (video calls), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting) — and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

4. Minors

Many of our users are high-school students. Campii is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use Campii. Question askers are shown anonymously on public pages (“Asked by a high schooler”) to protect student privacy. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email info@campii.app and we'll delete it promptly.

5. Public content

Chatroom questions and Guide answers are public and may be indexed by search engines. Please don't post anything you wouldn't want public, and never share personal contact details, financial info, or another person's private information. We automatically screen submissions for profanity and obvious personal info, but please use good judgment.

6. Your choices & rights

You can view and edit your profile, request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account by emailing info@campii.app. Depending on where you live (e.g., California), you may have additional rights over your personal information; we honor those requests.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. Help us by using a strong password and keeping your login private.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and basic analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
