My college has completely changed my life. I am now a highly certified scuba diver, a volunteer diver and I am entering research programs and internships. Even though I am now thriving it was a very different story my freshman year. Between battling health issues and being a first generation college student it got overwhelming faster than I could ask for help. If I had access to someone who knew the system and how everything worked I might have had a better experience in the beginning.
