At NC A&T, I love the strong sense of Aggie pride and the many opportunities to get involved on campus. I have learned that networking is essential because building relationships with professors, mentors, and fellow students can lead to internships, leadership opportunities, and lasting friendships. I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and supportive the community is. Looking back, I wish I had known from the beginning how important it is to step outside of your comfort zone.
