I am not a traditional college student. When I started college, I was in my 2nd semester when something traumatic happened in my life. I had to drop out and take time for myself. I ended up pushing that time to last 7 years before I finally decided to go back to college. It was a struggle, but I knew where to go to ask for help and to get support to get me back on track.
