Sophomore · Neuroscience
Hi my name is Eashwar Jaiganesh and I am a premed studying neuroscience at Baylor University. Baylor is a major research university, and undergraduates can get involved in research early. That's been important for me because I'm interested in medicine, and research helps me develop critical thinking and scientific skills outside the classroom. Baylor emphasizes undergraduate research opportunities and faculty mentorship, even for younger students.

I am so grateful for Baylor University. They have an amazing pre-med program, and sociology department. I also am happy to announce Baylor has an amazing Women and Gender Studies minor program, which will soon be made into a major! Baylor has amazing academic advisors, students, and on/off campus activities.

I'm originally from California, but I moved to Texas for Baylor. It's been a great experience for someone who was looking for a quality school with a focus on Christianity. There's something for everyone at Baylor; I myself am a part of several organizations, including Women's Rugby, NSSLHA, and Campus Crusades.
