Hi! I’m Aveon, a sophomore Civil Engineering major at Jackson State University. One thing I love about JSU is the sense of community there’s always someone willing to help you succeed. Coming from out of state, I was surprised by how quickly campus started to feel like home. My biggest advice is to get involved early, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. College can be challenging, but it’s also a great opportunity to grow, meet new people, and discover you!
