I am a recent graduate of Dickinson College and incoming Master of Public Health student at Thomas Jefferson University. I'm a Posse scholar from California, and a first-generation Latino student. During my time in undergraduate, I was heavily involved in campus life and student organizations and I was really able to maximize the resources my scholarship program and school offered. What I love most about my school is that it is small. I get to know and learn from my professors a lot more easily than if I were at a larger school like Penn State. It is a quiet and safe campus so I never was scared to walk around alone at night. I still was careful but I felt no genuine fear. I have met so many amazing people and the campus legitimately feels like a tight-knit community.
