UTA surprisingly is a great school. It's very financially achievable to attend, there are some truly great professors (not all of them though 👀), and the food was tasty most days. There's always something happening on campus, you just have to keep an eye out for the posters. The only real downside is the traffic - we have an abundance of commuters, so you definitely have to take that into account.

Hi! My name is Nyla, and I'm a Junior Nursing student at the University of Texas at Arlington. Most people see UTA as a commuter school where it's hard to make friends -- my experience was the complete opposite. I truly believe college is what you make it, and I have met lifelong friends! I am going to school 4 hours away from home, with no family members here. I can share so much about my own personal experience, as well as experiences from those around me.
