What I love most about Washington University is how collaborative and welcoming the community is. Despite everyone's different goals and accomplishments, it never feels like students are competing against one another. People are genuinely friendly and willing to help each other succeed. One thing that surprised me was how supportive my peers and professors are. I also wish I had known that transferring into and between certain schools and programs can be more difficult than expected.
