How big is Greek life at West Virginia University?

It is pretty popular on campus, but the bar scene is just as big if not bigger. Fraternities tend to have parties weekly but don't really receive a lot of attendance unless it is for a huge holiday. Both fraternities and sororities have date parties pretty frequently, but those are by invite. Are you trying to decide to rush or not? I would say it definitely depends on if you are a guy or girl.

Yes! It is so much fun at WVU, but it also depends on what you make of it. The going-out scene is very huge at WVU, but if that isn't your cup of tea, there are plenty of other things to do to fit your vibe. Try anything and everything!

How hard are the academics at West Virginia University?

It definitely depends first off on what your specific major is. I am a general business major and don't find my workload too complex, but my friend who is a nursing student would definitely say her workload is challenging. To add on to Robyn, Rate My Professor is definitely a great resource to help you pick classes when stuck between professors. I would say WVU would be a 5/10 on the difficult skill because it truly can be less or more depending on the choices you make in regards to course load.
