If you have financial aid, yes yes yes! My tution was 90% paid for via the Cal Grant B. If you're paying out of pocket, it may be worth the cost as a public CSU. Any other private schools will be way more expensive. CSUSM prides itself in having more than half of their students being first generation, making it one of the more resourceful and accessible CSU's.
