ReportThe academics at UMD are definitely challenging, but they're manageable if you stay organized and keep up with your work. Professors expect you to be independent, and some classes can be rigorous, especially in STEM and business. That said, there are plenty of resources like office hours, tutoring, and study groups if you need help. I've found that good time management makes a huge difference, and there's a healthy balance between academics and having a social life.
