ReportAs an LGBTQ+ student on campus, safety is a really big deal to me. I've had a better experience here than I expected, especially compared to my small Montana hometown. One nice thing is that there are emails that get sent when there is any significant reported safety concern, detailing what, when, where, and what to do in the scenario. It has put my mind at ease sometimes. Around Missoula depends on where exactly you're at to be honest, but I've personally never had a particular problem anywhere. Big events are often around though, which brings more people and more opportunity for safety concerns. Just something I keep in my mind if there's large happenings.
