ReportVirginia Tech feels VERY diverse and inclusive. From the orientation I attended, if I remember correctly, someone from every single state applied to Virginia Tech. Not to mention the various countries that people come from to live in Blacksburg. I am from India, so I can definitely feel when my surroundings are very plain, but being in Blacksburg never makes me feel like I am part of the community around me. There are so many different people from so many different backgrounds that you will never feel like you're alone. There is always someone in Blacksburg who relates to you.
