The dining hall food is actually pretty good in my opinion. There’s west village which I personally went to the most. At the first level there’s a Panda Express, Einstein bagels, and a smoothie place. Upstairs is the actual dining hall. They have a pretty good fruit and salad selection. You cans order meals like pasta or omelets from a kiosk there. They have certain foods everyday like pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, hamburgers etc. Some days they have a good desktop selection of veggies and they chicken there is pretty good. Based on certain holidays the food has a theme (ex Mardi Gras or thanksgiving). One time they even had seafood boils. Also a waffle maker and ice cream machine there with a good selection of deserts as well. Glen dining hall a lot of people like. I would say they have the same features as west village but it’s strictly a dining hall. They also have a deli section and açaí bowl section which are pretty good. Newell dining hall is where I first ate as a freshman. That dining hall has the basics, I’ve gone twice only. At the bottom is Newell den which is super good. There’s a boba spot and another spot white all types of burgers, sandwiches, wings, breakfast items, etc. The food there is great. Inside it also like a little convenient store with snacks, ice cream, drinks, etc. There are some food places within some of the academic buildings as well. I can give more information on those and the Union food if interested!
