ReportTowson has many mental health and academic support services to help us students succeed both personally and academically. The Counseling Center provides confidential mental health services, like individual counseling, group therapy, crisis support, substance use counseling, and wellness programs. Students can also access the Student Outreach and Support (SOS) program which connects them with resources for personal, financial, and academic issues. Academically the tutoring and learning center offers free tutoring, academic coaching, study groups, and workshops for things like time management, organization, or test preparation. Additional support is available through the writing center (in the Union) where students can receive assistance with brainstorming, drafting, revising, and improving various types of written assignments. Towson also provides academic advising, disability accommodations, career services, and library research support. Hope that helps!
