I say the social scene is very good. As far as campus the “hot spot” is the union. The union is the spot most people go to socialize, eat with friends, do work, etc. Students from local schools (ex: morgan university) often visit Towson campus which leaves room for more social interactions. I would also say school events are a good chance to be in a good social scene as well. Football games, homecoming, Tigerfest, etc are just a few examples. The strip nearby is also a very good social scene. Thursdays and Saturdays are usually the most popular days people decide to go and hangout. It’s many food spots and more on the strip where people hangout and the mall is right past the strip as well. Freshman week is a really good time to scope out the social scene. It’s almost a week of just the freshman in campus and there are events everyday to get to know people. If you want any more clarification or want to know more about anything I said let me know!
