UTA surprisingly is a great school. It's very financially achievable to attend, there are some truly great professors (not all of them though 👀), and the food was tasty most days. There's always something happening on campus, you just have to keep an eye out for the posters. The only real downside is the traffic - we have an abundance of commuters, so you definitely have to take that into account.

What I love most about my school is that it is small. I get to know and learn from my professors a lot more easily than if I were at a larger school like Penn State. I love that it's an R1 research school, that mean lots of money for research opportunities. I like that it's an urban campus in the middle of the city. Great food all around. It's got one of the best recreation centers in the us with state of the art equipment and a 50 ft rock climbing wall. There's study abroad opportunities and lots of clubs to join.
